Went back to the farm for three weeks for Christmas break from college. I'll admit that I didn't get out as much as I should have or could have, but did get out plenty and got a bunch of good pictures.
All these pictures came from Dixon County Nebraska.
Welcome to the Stark Farm, with lots of snow and -10F temperatures:
Lots of hamburgers and steaks walking around in the feedyard:
Cool texture of a snowdrift:
Great sundog that hung around the sun for two days during the blizzard:
Doesn't look like a good day to try to go to town!
Sun setting over an iced-over lake. This was from a warm day and there was almost 2 inches of water on top of the ice. It was still plenty thick and there were a few people ice fishing!
When I work at this park during the summer we often have to chase people out of the Missouri river here. No problems with that today!
