Winter Hike and Fatwood pic's

Their website has a dealer finder by zip code. I found several within a 20 min drive from my work. Found one last week that I've been meaning to do a review on. Spot on geometry and great balance, but mine is a different model.

Thanks! I think I found a dealer not too far from our place. :)

Where are you guys picking these up from and how do you maintain (handles, edges, etc) them? Id assume a bit of linseed oil and a mill file yeah?

I use some fine steel wool to get all the dirt and grime off the handle then apply boiled linseed oil. For the blade I use sand paper and mouse pad. I guess a file would work if it's super dull but an axe really should be as sharp as your knife. If not sharper(finer grit.)

I polished the edge of mine with my 1x42" belt sander, then stroped it to a mirror. After that a touch up on the strop and all is good. :D Here is where I got one of mine. http://www.jackssmallengines.com/husqvarna_axes.cfm
