Well Uncle Claremore and all that surrounds it is covered in ice and snow. It's very cold and wet out. I had to take Terry to work this morning. We grabbed extra clothes, blankets and of course a khukuri. I don't know how many of the wives out there share there husbands interest in khukuris but I sure felt better having one with me. It's a saftey precaution. Terry only works about a mile from where we live, so if I got stranded I would have no problem walking but you never know who you will meet on the walk. The way things are you just can't tell. There are also mean dogs between home and work. I am sure it's just common sense for all you khukuri knuts to carry one but if your wife or teen is driving alone you might want send a khukuri along with them. (you would definately want to check on knife laws in your area first). In the winter we always carry matches, kitty litter, a candle, extra blankets and clothes. We don't leave home with out
our trusty khukri it doesn't matter the temperature.
