January, 2009 Winter Camping Trip
From January 17-19, 2009 ( MLK Holiday) we will be having our 3rd winter campout. This trip is open to anyone. This year we will be near Elizabethtown, NY, just off the Lincoln Pond Road. Depending on how much snow we have, we should be able to drive pretty close to the site (with 4W drive). We will be near the main lodge of the Sportsman Club but most of us will be camping outdoors. It is a beautiful site and right in the High Peaks area. We are fortunate to have a good friend who has made the arrangements for this trip. Thank you Hayseed (Jerry).
These winter trips can get pretty cold so anyone contemplating on coming be sure to have proper gear. I will add more details later. If interested you can e-mail me at wlcwe@localnet.com I like to have an approximate count. We usually have between 12 to 18 folks coming.
