Winter time giveuoué (result P3)

I'm in. We have had a new puppy, a three month old Golden Doodle that we brought home when she was 7-8 weeks old, that is keeping us more than busy/amused. Her name is Lussi (pronounced as Lucy) Her name is to honor and remember our last two dogs that have passed, Luke & Jessi.
Very generous GAW, thanks for the opportunity.

I'm in.

I love winter. Snowboarding, Ice Skating, sledding.

This winter, I got a pizza oven (can use wood, charcoal or gas. A Solo Stove pizza oven)

I'm learning a bit every time.

I've also been sneaking rides on my motorcycle. Though it was only 10 Degrees Farenheight (-12.2 C) today and snowed.

You can see ice on the lake from this ride last week.

I’m in too…..we also have some new puppies, cavapoos, they Are brothers and keep us busy….and tired. They are about 21 weeks now, cute as buttons and lots of energy. During winter, we like to curl up to the infrared fire place, watch old reruns of old shows, and play with them. We also like to find antique shops to find hidden treasures….or junk we don’t need. Great knife and thanks for the chance. This is an older pic of them. 21C44D55-7DCE-4D29-9AF3-62A21774B79F.jpeg

I'm in please. Like this pattern :) Thanks for the winter giveaway Jean-Marc, I warm my soul on the generous spirit of The Porch, and good soup, of course :)

I'm in! Très généreuse giveuoué, Jean-Marc.

"I love Paris in the winter, when it drizzles..."

In the winter, a hot cup of black coffee and my Chihuahua are good companions when I read a good book in the evening.

Sometimes going to a hockey game, despite the horrendous music they play (NOT a heavy metal fan!).

And I enjoy sharing knives with my grandchildren.

I'n IN and thank you :) Fine prize, can't have too much French Connexion in life:thumbsup:

Winter is a 'speciality' here and let me tell you, it's long  But at least it's getting lighter now and the awful darkness is past. But what to do in the winter? I've NO interest in the national sport ice-hockey or any winter sports such as ski-ing or skating, then there's pilkki..this involves sawing a hole in the ice, sitting on a folding stool and catching small fish- if you're lucky. Theoretically it can be rewarding but the ice this year won't support you and it freezes you in short measure- but the price of fish these days....:D

I like to help the winter birds as it's a very tough time for them. This winter, bird feeding was forbidden in my block in the city much to my anger. Some old bag probably decide to complain, hyststeria about rats....they thrive because of all these disgusting fast-food joints, littering and the despicable obesities who insist on eating that :poop: and leaving half eaten boxes on the street. Anyway, we have urban Redfoxes now I'm pleased to say and they look after rats. rats are only a problem if people put bird feed on the ground at night So I feed them at the country place and very rewarding too. Squirrels and hares come out to have their fill too.

However, winter here gave birth to a unique Finnish invention SAUNA  Sure they have similar 'arrangements' elsewhere such as in Russia or Sweden but they're pale imitations and less common too. Sauna is good all year round, very beneficial for joint problem or poor circulation and in winter you can add to it by rolling in snow or dipping in an ice cold lake- cool shower does me.

This young woman would be naked but realize American viewers have odd nudity phobias or 'family friendly ' obsessions so I found a doctored pic ;)🤣 out of tact...

Knife aspect too, a Pukko makes a good tool for making birch curls to start your sauna- best not try it with indoor electric fired versions though o_O

I am not in. As much as I admire the craftsmanship of that knife, my goal this year is to reduce my possessions so I won’t even take the chance. Love the file work.

I have lived in many different places with different winters. Skiing is something I enjoyed living near the mountains. Snow and ski slopes give winter a purpose.
