Here I want to show you an amazing making of ....
my Andrew Jordan Commander in Elite Gold Damascus!

Now Andrew sends me first pics of my awesome Commander blade with fantastic fullers in japanese tradition!

I´m so happy and really proud, that Andrew made a so graceful blade for me!

At the moment this all is unbelieveable to me!
A dream come true!

But take a look ....

 That looks sweet! can't wait to see the finished product, keep the pics coming.

Wow the pattern on the blade is great. Keep up the good work and ditto on the W.I.P. pics.

Congrats on your "grail"!!!!

This one is absolutely awesome!!

Please say something about the steel composite..

Looking forward to see new pics with the handle!

It´s made from 200 layers random 15N20, 1:2842 and Tungsten steel with core 30 layers 1:2842 and Tungsten steel.

I worked with some other Elite Gold blades before and they are real hardcore tools with incredible sharp edges!!!

Will post more pics, when I got news! :)

... New pictures!!!

Now the fittings are made!

Next step is the plasmacoating!

That is so cool looking, I love the double fullers on one side and large single fuller on the other, I dont think I have seen that done. I also like the useful thumb grooves up the spine.

Beautiful!

I didn't know Tungsten could be utilized in damascus. That is very cool!

That looks like it's going to be a very nice knife.
Too bad that maker Andrew Jordan has managed himself to be kicked from both the German and the Dutch knife forums for his a-social behaviour as well as being a thief.

Thanks, Esav Benyamin!
I don´t know, what this guys personal problem is!
But he´s doing this badmouthing on other forums, too! (with the result, that he has to stop this!)
For me it would be nice, when you delete his posting here complete!

@kwakster
A funny thing.
Too bad, that Andrew is not any longer in "your" little dutch forum. :-)

Envy is the utmost form of recognition!:barf:

Back to the real topic:

This work is amazing and enjoy your knife, d-fense!!!!!!;)

Bladeforums has always had a policy of not deleting posts out of the General Forums. We let them stand on their own.
So unless the post is Spam or oriented towards porn or the like the post will stand on it's own.

beautifull blade!!!

I have several knives of Andrew and they all are great. I myself have an Elite Gold Commander too, it served me very well on the last extreme survival course I attended in Sweden.

As for the earlier reaction....I thought this was a knife forum...personal things should be dealed with in person, not by a forum, imo.

Jan

My blade is back from plasmacoating!

It´s very nice, that the pattern is still to see!

Next and last step is the making of the handle and then I will drive to the netherlands to get my beauty!
