I am back from my short vacation in exotic Romania and I attacked the handle. It is now shaped, maybe sans some minor tweaks for symmetry etc. Butt is domed. Everything is at 320 grit so if there are no nasty surprises I am might be on a home stretch. I hope to shape and finish pretty much everything pre-glueing. Blanace point right now is at the plunge line.

I originally wanted to do some stippling to give the handle more visual appeal but I am not satisfied with my experiments to do a real piece just yet. So this is pretty much how it will be.

Great work my friend! The knife came out really beautiful!

I'd like to give an apology for my lateness and update from my end. The knife is close to completion but my JS test is sucking up all my time in the shop at the moment. My test will be held on 22th of August and will be back 26th of August. Once back, I will finish the knife as soon as possible.

Once again, great work on the knife!

This blade appears to have a mind of its own!

Nonetheless, I glued up the handle once again and hopefully will be the last. I took a much more linear approach this time, the guard and the spacer are both heat blackened stainless steel and the handle desert ironwood.

Once the glue has dried, I will do the sheath.

I can finally say the knife is completed!

Even though it fought me a lot, it was a pleasure working on this knife. The fittings are heat blackened stainless steel and desert ironwood for the handle.
The sheath has a frog piece that I forgot to photograph, it can be carried as is IWB or with the frog and the belt loop.
