I saw this design on r/knives over on Reddit and the poster wanted somebody to make it so I decided to make it. It's really different from my style but, hey, can't do the same thing forever.
Here's the original design

Template glued onto steel

Cutting out on the bandsaw

Profiling on the disk sander

Rounding out the choil

Drilling tang holes

Here it is rough ground

I'm doing a tapered tang on this one

I use a harbor freight magnet to keep it flat

Decent taper

Bevels roughed out

There will be more to come!

Nice! We have the same setup: grinder, band saw, and drill press. Hell I even have that same magnet lol. Great minds...
