Hello Everyone, I am posting the first knives I am working on and would like some constructive criticism. I want to get a better grinder soon but I need to feel that its worth the investment and saving up that it will take, if I can really make some progress. I have really got the bug for knife making and I am finding out that is not inexpensive endeavor for a starving artist like myself. please let me know what you think. Thanks.

I haven't really something to add other then, keep going making knives since these looks good.

Hey Thor, here's my take on your work... keep in mind, I'm a complete noob, so take what I say with a grain on salt! The first knife is the best looking of the lot. Your fit and finish are by far the best on that one.
With the other two, try to line up the spine of the knife with the back handle. Spend lots more time sanding, especially at the lower grits.
Keep it up! I really dig the copper!

I think you're well on your way with these two. you'll definitely want to work on your grind symmetry and lines in general. take for example where the hilt meets the grip on the bottom knife. if you make them flow into each other more smoothly. then it will be not only be more aesthetically pleasing but will not cause 'hot spots' or discomfort during usage of the knife. I also dig the copper work, keep it up man and definitely hit up the sticky threads at the top of this section of the forum. there's a ton of important beginner info there.
