WIP folder (my first) pictures

hey everybody
alot of people have helped me with this by giving me great advice. here is what yall have done.

the folder has Ti liners (and lock) G10 and carbon fiber.. and the blade is 1095 with a hamon.

not many people make folders with hamons.. why is that? is it because of the carbon steel?

anyway... there is still a good bit of work left to do on this thing.. but it looks like a knife now.. i ground the blade this afternoon and put 150 grit paper on it.. so there is still a good bit of work.. but this is a start... please let me know what you think.

You never cease to impress or amaze me Chris. I like hamons on folders BTW. Good choice for materials, very classy look. Please share pics as you finisht it. Thanks for the saya tutorials BTW. I'll be putting them to good use now.
 
That looks alot like one Les Voorhies just sold. Is that what you based it on?

Little brother to the Model 7XL

Specs are:

Blade - 3.25" x .145" CPM154 (3" sharpened)
Scales - Tan G10 w/Carbon fiber bolsters
Liners - .063" titanium
Other - 1/8" barrel pivot w/IKBS
Misc - Flips with zero wrist action, has zero blade play.

that is funny about the other knife.. but no.. it wasn't the inspiration. i think it was something i saw in a Blade mag.. verrry tired.. i'll update later

Chris brought that knife over on Saturday. It is a real nice folder.
