WIP of a Begg fixed blade

WOW...as a tool junkie, I am in awe watching the machining processes.

Looking forward to seeing the finished sinister looking weapon of destruction!

Thanks for taking the time to post it,
Peter

As I am posting these final pics, Todd still has two hours left till the deadline. He is literally wiped out, and running on sheer determination and stubbornness. He did finally admit that he might have over extended himself this time......its gonna be close!

That is totally awesome, Todd! How many hours do you have into it? That needs to be featured in Zombieland II. :D

I love the dove shaped grip. Especially fitting to have the bird of peace on a Klingon zombie slayer!

Damn, seeing the maker of this knife approaching with the blade in his hand and murder in his eyes would probably scare the living hell out of any creature walking on two feet, living or undead.

By the way, what's the blue material of the spacers between the carbon fiber scales and the tang? Titanium?

Todd looks a little bit crazed at the end - no wonder.

Have you considered leaving some steps / facets in the blade? I think it's a really cool effect. R. J. Martin does that, but he's just scratched the surface in terms of design potential.

Vege Taco-We had 120 hrs to make this knife, and I subtracted Todd's sleeping and eating and it works out to about 86 hrs of actual hands on work went into this knife.

Dr. Heelhook-It is anodized and textured titanium between the cf handle scales.

Joss-Todd would have loved to incorporate quite a bit more, but the time constraints of having to finish it within 120hrs barely left him enough time just to complete the build.

Steven-perhaps...if the new owner will allow it.

Thank you everyone else...this knife was a challenge, but Todd loves doing these wild scifi type pieces occasionally. Its fun.

Oh, I didn't mean for this knife, I just meant generally.

Todd and Tanya - That is exquisite, it's absolutely SICK, and I mean sick in the way of the highest compliment I can pay. WOW!
