Hello. I´m going to show you some photos about the process of my last folding knife. The blade is a 1035-Ni-1095-Ni-1035 sanmai. The handle was made from buffalo horn, with a 1070 hardened spring.

There are a lot of photos, i´m sorry if it is a bit hard to see.

I hope you to like it.

Regards, Pablo.

At first I was like, "Yeah, that's neat... I'm not a big fan though." By the end I was like, "Oh... My... God. That thing is beautiful." Honestly one of the coolest knives I've seen.

Amazing! I kept thinking "Okay, he's done now" and then there would be more. By the end I was totally impressed and amazed. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! This is an incredible piece of work, and incredible set of pictures! Thanks for the detail on the Spanish lock as well.

I'm just not getting it. Could you explain how the the locking/unlocking levers work? This piece has fascinated me since I first saw it.

Thanks all you!

I'm just not getting it. Could you explain how the the locking/unlocking levers work? This piece has fascinated me since I first saw it.

In the spring, under the lever, there is a small window. It locks with the slot in the blade. When you action the lever, it push over the blade and causes the spring to raise, unlocking.

I´m sorry about my poor english, if you didn´t understand my explanation i can look for any video in Youtube.

Regards, Pablo.

I love everything about the knife. Makes me want to try my hands at a folder like this. Not that I could do anything that comes even close to this beauty.

Thanks for taking the time to share your work and process with us Pablo. Very much appreciated.

Don't short-change yourself, Patrice. This WIP is obviously of very high calibre work, but your skill set leaves you plenty capable of doing something similar.

Very well done and very inspiring. Thank you for posting those pictures. What is the powder on the paper with the epoxy/glue?
