I had a friend ask me to make something similar to the Tom Brown Tracker. I drew the design and he approved so here is were I'm at so far. After making knives for a solid two months, I'm starting to get use to my Craftsman 2x42. I'm okay at getting the primary bevel, but I'm still working on being able to get a good belt finish blade. Anyway I'm proud of myself for being able to step to the grinder and bang this out first try. Below are the specs.

.200 1084

5" blade and 4.5" handle
I'm going to put a hole (not sure of the term) in the swedge for notching and wanted to know if you think I should just use a round chainsaw file or a drill press?

no saw teeth, no flat section next to the choil, looks more useful than the TB tracker design. :) i like it
