This is where the WIP links will be kept. Each WIP will have a post # and you can just click the link in that post to see the WIP. Any comments or questions can be posted in the WIP thread. Thanks to all the folks who do the WIP projects.
Anyone who does a project as a WIP will get it linked here.

In your WIP, make an introductory paragraph giving the project, your handle, brief description, etc.
This will be the post # info for the link.

Here is the starter thread on the idea:

Jonnymac44 - Model 10 West Coast Hunter WIP, stock removal:

I thought it was good timing for me to do a WIP thread of my process of making a knife from start to finish. I am working on a lot of stuff right now, so this may be a slowly evolving project but I might as well get started. Like Stacy suggested , this WIP is not about the right or wrong way to do things......it's just they way that I do things. Much of what I learned I got from these forums. Other things I learned myself through trial and error, and some things just came naturally on their own. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Calvin Richardson - L6 Bowie WIP

This is a bowie that I am making from a big, honkin' sawmill blade. I honestly don't know exactly what the steel is, but I've read that most sawmill blades are made from L6. It's been made with a stock removal method. The bevels have been ground in freehand with an angle grinder and then hand filed to final profile. The profile was done with a bench grinder and files. Lots and lots of filin'. If you have any questions or comments on how I've done anything ask away.

Calvin Richardson - Recurve Tanto

A buddy of mine wanted a kukri designed knife. I tried for quite a while to design something that closely resembled a kukri with no success. I just couldn't get the angles and sweeps the way I wanted them to look. So I designed what I think is more of a tactical kukri. I'm not really sure what to call this design. The name of the knife is "Impartial Judgment." Tell me what you think.
Cut out of a saw blade.

Manuel Quiroga G. - Turkish-Damascus Bowie

Hi to all,
For some time now I started working on a 8 bar twisted damascus blade, for a bowie I have in mind. I took a lot of pictures of the process and I will start showing them.
Note: when I decided to take pictures of the process I already had the base damascus already made, so I took some pictures of other damascus projects, as the procedure is the same.

knifemaker87 - Carbon Fiber Takedown

This is a knife I recently finished but explored several new ways of doing things, at least for me.

I have been wanting to try a take down, and I love this style blade. I dont have any forging pictures as I made this billet up at the Fire and brimstone hammer-in in 2010. It is W2-15n20-1084 at about 100 layers, (or thereabouts) and the forging was done when I left my camera at work.
