WIP threads???

I am brand new to this, have made less than 10 Knives having started about 2 months ago. I do not know of anyone that makes knives much less anyone around here that I could learn from. With that said I am learning solely from this forum and trial and error. I guess there is just about every answer to every question about knife making somewhere on this forum. Just need to look.

Anyway, I find the WIPs to be a great learning tool, both the new and old ones.
It also gives me the opportunity to see the skill level of others, a benchmark so to speak.

Is there an actual article that details the building of that tire hammer?
 
Everytime I flip through a WIP thread, I get the sudden urge to go into the garage and grind away at some metal.
Inspiration. That's what they mean to me.
