I often read negative stories in here, warning etc for others. I just wanted to post a thread about a fantastic seller.
This gentleman goes by the moniker "Wire Edge" here on the forums and he recently had a set of lower end knives to sell. I've been picking up quality lower end and Swiss Army Knives to distribute to the boys in my boy scout troop and his fit the bill. They were good entry level knives at a very modest price. We worked out a deal and exchanged addresses. He wanted to be paid via a check which was fine. I think this was on a Thursday.
One thing or another prevented me from getting to the post office until the following Monday. Imagine my chagrin when the knives showed up the same day I shipped the check! He had mailed them the very next day from when we had made the deal. I pinged him to let him know that I had really shipped the check and he was just as nice and calm as he could be. He waited patiently for the check (which apparently went to him via Zimbabwe) and was a pleasure to deal with the whole time. Once the check finally got there (today) he was kind enough to check with me to make sure it was okay to deposit it! I mean really! What a guy. Don't ever hesitate to deal with Wire Edge he is top flight!
