Wisconsin Knife Show - anybody going?

I got there about 10 and stayed till 12:30. Plenty to see and several very talented local (to Wisconsin) makers had great stuff!

It was my first time going and I’ll plan to return next year for sure.

It has been a pretty good place to find an older knife that you have been interested in . I have probably picked up 16 knives there since I have been going there . This years finds . There are a fair number of custom makers and people selling material to make knives with there . Going there with others who are liked minded knife nuts is a real plus . I know in the overall scheme of things it is a small show but !!!!!

I don’t have experience with different shows but I try to make the Badger show every year since it’s within a hour of home. I’m not sure how it compares to other shows but I always have a great time and leave happy with what I find. Seems like there is something everyone can enjoy when it comes to the types of knives at the Badger show.

I passed through on Friday for a few hours. I may swing back tomorrow (Sunday) to see what’s left laying around and hang out. Here’s a few that I grabbed on Friday.

The show was certainly busy, especially on Saturday. So many knife guys in there that folks had to walk sideways down the aisles. A friend, Keith, took a lot of pictures that he said I could share.

Ryan Daniels, myself, and my Dad. Had a great time at the show, and lots to see. This show has a good blend of older knives, newer tactical, custom handmade, and knifemaking supplies.

Saturday was very busy! Busier, I think, that I’ve seen it the last couple years that I’ve been going.
