If I could wish for additions to Schrade's line, I sure would like to see Old Timer
sheath knives along these lines:
1-a genuine bowie type knife with at least an
8-9" blade and a drop point or clip point
and a crow's beak spur on the pommel (or a flared end cap?)Blade to be tapered and designed with a deep curve to the belly
2-a contract production of Moran's ST-23
combat knife
3-a machete/large 'survival' knife similar
to the Bush Knife done by S. African Piet Gray, or maybe a replica of the 1917 Bolo
4-a drop point 4-5" hunter
5-a 3.5" Urban companion type utility knife
6-a 7" blade ridged zytel drop point with a
pouch for a utility tool and/or a small amt
of additional gear-Blade to be 1/4"minimum
at guard-and treated with dull finish-rust
resistant, etc., i.e.-a do anything tough knife.
I'd also like to see a big clasp knife like
the Case 6250 (elephant's toenail) with
bone or micarta handles
