Wish list winter 2016

- Spyderco Native 5 G-10
- Benchmade Crooked River with wood scales
- ZT 0566
- Case trapper with 154cm
- Case backpocket with 154cm
- any of those Case/Bose collaborations that marcus52AR just posted....they're fantastic!!

Not a prestigious list, but I don't have them and I want them....

I got a Busse Badger Attack BG in the mail on the way right now...
I am in the market for CRK Mnandi and always on a lookout for small to medium size custom fixed blades.

I've got a Mcusta Katana in black/green on the way right now. If I pick up anything else before 2017 it'll be a PM2 in blurple or M4/CF, a 0452CF or a Kizer Ursa Minor.

This year it's between a Southern Grind Spider Monkey and a ZT 0095BW.
Can't decide right now though!!

Everything I want is pricey and my paychecks, uh, aren't. BUT only six numbers are between me and: a Spyderco mamba and/or szabo and/or nilakka; a ZT 0804CF and/or 0400; a Hogue X5; a Begg Kwaiken (all black), a Mcusta Tsuchi; and, just for fun, a Gavko Mako. We're dreaming right? Might as well dream big.

That's what I had in mind. It can be a small reasonable purchase or your dream knife that you think you might be able to afford in 10-20 years. Or anything in between, it's your wish list, no rules here.

There is this knife out there made by this guy that cost 1k and there is only one of them. In hopes of not being sold I cant say what or where it is in hopes that it will still be available in a months time. :D

I have been eyeing a Michael Raymond they look amazing. If anyone has one and can tell me how they like it I would be very grateful.

Those look very nice, I really like the overall profile. If I ever did get one it would be quite a ways down the road.

I'd like to pick up a new Hinderer one day. The half track and MP-1 look very nice. I also need to replace my copper investigator I lost a couple weeks ago (2nd one:grumpy:)

I was thinking of trying out a copper ti-bolt if I can find one. Maybe put some type of leash on it so I don't lose it. Haha

Also I'd like to pick up a fluted Ti native. Not really to use, but more of a fondle knife.. it's purdy!

There's more.. there's always more.

A Hinderer Flashpoint, but that's every year.

Something Busse, maybe, but I haven't found one I like. I guess the search is the point, for this one.

A Mini-A-100, satin, fine-edge blade. Whew! choices....

The TOPS B.O.B folder, also a "maybe" and also if it comes out this year.

A folding Izu- actually, forget it.

A Mini CQC-7, spear point, fine edge, stonewash, with no wave. Which, if I'm interpreting Emerson's letter combination properly, is a Mini CQC-7A/BWQ7V5. I think.

Edit: Then, looking forward to 2025, if I start saving now, I'll have enough money to put a down payment on a Demko custom.

Further edit: And that's just the short list. There are about twenty fixed blade makers I would like to support. Go ahead: ask me. I dare you.

More wharncliff (or modified versions of) blades, on smaller knives with superb ergonomics.

That's kinda where my interest are at the moment.

Maybe I'll be lucky enough to get my hands on some slipjoints that continue to elude me, and my last wish would be trying out your Shiro Marcus!!

Yes, I am in love with Wharncliffe blades

Nice list!

Which makers were you thinking of picking up on those fixed blades?

I feel the same way about picking up a Busse, however I don't know if I'd use it enough to justify the expense.

Andy Roy/Fiddleback Forge. Pretty much everything he's ever done, but especially the BushBoot, Bushfinger, Bushnub, and his interpretation of a camp knife.

A Nathan Carothers EDC.

Something by Storm Crow/James Helm/Helmforge.

An HI Seax.

Every single thing that Josh Mason has ever made.

A Nighthaxan/Suwanee River Knife and Jewelry Sodden Pocket Knife.

Something by Bill Siegle.

Crap. Forgot Daniel Fairly! Whups.

Um, that's it for now.

...And if I REALLY wanted to spend money, I would try to get my hands on a Loveless Big Bear, something by Tai Goo, a Hattori, a Matsuda, a Spyderco Kumho, any of Edmund Davidson's work, an Anders Hogstrom, and one spectacular Persian pattern knife by Don Lozier that I have never forgotten.

Hey, since we're out this far, may as well include a first-year old Laconico Jasmine (I have a Gemini, but why not?), and one of his Slim EDC's. Oh yeah, a monolithic frame Rassenti, too.
