Hello Everyone,
I'm deeply saddened about Schrade also. The more we start buying Made in USA, maybe these icons of America might have a chance .
Just trying to get my Old Timer wish list out and maybe get lucky.
Ebay listings have become quite common as far as models go. Some of these are going to be very difficult to find NIB or new. Here goes: 2, 8Y, 34Y, 36, 41, 50, 58(Ulster), 106, 123, 138, 154, 225, 226, 296Y and the Ulster OT camp knife.
I've been working out of Robert Clemente's book. (Which I highly recommend to all OT and UH knife knuts).
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you kindly, Jerry.

hiya Bingo. Yep, several of us here have Mr. Clemente's book, it is a good reference. I value mine for a couple of reasons, one of which is the thoughful inscription and autograph by the author.. and the fact that it was a gift.

I can't help you, but if you don't mind, I'll piggy back one of my own 'wish list' knives onto this thread, and move this up to the top. Maybe we'll both get some help. I need a XT1B... that big and bad looking 'XTimer'.

Phil,

Sent you e-mail on your schrade. Check your SPAM folder! :)

Thats where the mail I send you goes... :grumpy:

Says something.

Got it Larry and thank you. Hey, my spam folder is a very cool place, you should be proud to be there! Yesterday your email was right between one for generic viagra and a home mortgage offer. There was also a Nigerian con game email and one offering Paris Hilton's video! My regular email box is boring, lots of stuff from family and friends, ebay notices of what I didn't win.

Ordered that big knife. Anxious to see how it compares to my Becker 9.

Phil

Did you take up any of those other offers in your spam folder?

With all the enhancment drugs being sold on the internet these days our undertakers are gonna have a hard time getting the smiles off our faces and they will need to redesign the lids on the coffins!

Well, if enough folks take "advantage" of those offers, I'd guess cremations would "Rise" ... since it would sorta be like having a wick on a candle anyway. :D

Bad Billy

P.S.
I guess this is sorta like gallows humor at a wake for a good friend.
