I'm glad to see you have rediscovered the fine world of slipjoints and traditional knives that is one heck of a knife you have there.
 
I love my Davison!!! I don't know if you go out to eat much, but if you go out to eat at all, with that knife on you, I bet you will be using that instead of steak knives or whatever they might give you as a knife where you are eating. I look for any and every excuse to use mine!
