It turned out that the Combat Karambit became my favorite daily carry. I really want the XHD version.

I wish that you all get your wishes. My wish came true this year when I was able to get a custom CQC-12. The 12 is my favorite and I've carried a prodcution 12 since 2004.

Once you all have what you desire, I do miss that Azek Marud I stupidly sold years ago. A production version of that would be very nice.
 
Been awhile since anyone has posted.

As I recline here upon my fluffy couch in the brisk AC, eating takeout pizza, and casting YouTube videos from my Android to the Roku to watch on my flat screen in Dolby sound because there's nothing on Netflix, I'm stewing about how unfair it is that I don't have a 1500 dollar CQC-6 to carry and use.

Poor soggy me, limited to this primitive 200 dollar 7A, with only one extra for backup.

SOOOOOOOOO pissed off that the 6's production successor, the 7 got stuck with an such an ugly blade, that got even uglier as it was refined through the years.

I NEED a 7 with a 6 blade. Like the bulldog. But with a seven handle.

Why the hell does this have to be so hard? Why couldn't they just put the damned 6 blade on the 7 handle???? O, the humanity.

I really dont like the 7 tanto. I LOVE that sexy ass 6 (Bulldog) tanto.

Put one of those on the nice, neutral handle of the 7 and you'd (I'd) have a new classic.

Sigh. Stupid first world problems . . .

Deep thoughts, Mr. Bond... And here I am just wishing for a super kwaiken or Appalachian... Maybe even a flipper variant of either...
 
Sorry to hear man. I'm out in the desert; this time, a resort with family/ extended family... Last week it was high desert wilderness hiking... Which I prefer. Still got steel on my mind. I've been waiting for new Busse offerings, I've been looking at Winkler fixed blades, and I've been waiting for new cool stuff to drop from EKI. Other than that, I've reserved a GEC #77 Barlow with green saw cut bone - it's a clip point with a match strike long pull.

I think I want to see a really big (Ubr sized) blade from Emerson. Those are always fun.
