I agree with T, a CG Boss Street would also be a good choice. The blade is a little longer and thicker than the Mean Street at 4 1/4" and .22. You can frequently find them here on the exchange or that auction site that must not be mentioned for around $250. It feels real good in hand too. Here's a couple of pics. The bottom one is a Meaner Street, another good choice. I like the ESEE 3 clip point, but with 1/8" 1095 steel, I don't know how much abuse it could take.

Here is a comp pic of a CABS( thinner version of the Boss Street .140) on top, and the Anni Mean Street on bottom. I guess if you want a 3" blade the Mean Street would be a better choice at 3 1/2" long and .170 thick.

The Anni Mean Street Military Overrun is realy sweet with a swedge for improved penetration, hollow grind, and double cut finish.
