To Nathan and Jo, to Mark and the rest of the crew, and to your extended families, I wish you a joyous Christmas and a happy new year.
Austin took his wife home to Montana for the holidays. Abigail is in Montana with her husband for Christmas. Kenna and her husband are going to Maryland to see his folks. My son Logan will be in Florida for a volleyball tournament. So my wife and I are holding down the fort with friends and my family.
It is always fun through the holiday season to have loved ones gather around and share meals and some fun times. Here at our house it usually involves meat on the big cutting board and knives being discussed and used as part of the fun family meals. So that means CPK knives come out of The Cutting Block. And
Don Hanson III
knives! The first Custom Knife I ever bought was nathan's. The second and third was a pair of custom knives with Mammoth Ivory handles that Don and his son Kyle made for my son and I. His antique sawmill blades are used often in the kitchen. I love them.
As some of you know we cure our own pork bellies into bacon. And one sad note on my holiday season will be that I don't have a K20 to cut the pork bellies into bacon with. My wife has been the K18 from the kitchen but we might have to sneak it out for some guys chopping.
Almost every year new people get to see THE CPK lineup and say wow look at that where can I get one of those.
So feel free to share your Christmas knife stories and pics.
