All I'm asking from Santa is for my new Ladyfinger with tapered tang and antique canvas to arrive in time to go under the tree hah

Yeah, that's a really sweet Ladyfinger, I don't blame you.

I would like any of them! Im really digging the ladyfinger now though.

Wanting to see a dyed curly maple Bushfinger tapered tang (non-scandi) next Fiddleback Friday. I mentioned in another thread I wasn't drawn to bolstered knives, but the more I see from Andy with the contrasting pins the more I like it. I'd move in one of those. Plus I don't think I've seen one up on the block in a while.

No Bushfingers this week...it's gonna be a long 6 more days!

There was a really sweet bush finger posted for sale in the exchange a day or so again If I didn't already have one, I'd have purchased it for myself. Not sure if you saw the thread....

Yeah I sure did see it. I looked at it quite hard, but it was full height grind. Kinda takes a lot away from the nice spalted O1 work. I'll just patiently await Fiddleback Fridays to find one that suits me. Weeks filled with anticipation...

New to you, not new to knives. I tend to like the best if both worlds: function and appearance. Thanks for the reference info. I'm learning to be more patient anyway...

hmmmmmm...let's see...a Hunter with a nicely figured wood handle would be nice

I can't believe that more people aren't wishing for Nessmuks in their stockings! It's pretty much Andy's original trademark knife, before the Bushfinger madness took over...

Also, I kinda feel like Andy Roy is the bush knife Santa. Andy my stocking is just a decoration right now, and it needs a 3/32 Nessmuk with a convex grind, handle of your choice. Thanks!

Christmas is over but maybe we should keep our wishlist going, or at least, as in my case, updated.

I revised my all-time bushcraft style favorite a bit again. It would be a 1/8 scandi Arete with extra beefy NatCan handles, tapered tang and - which is the new addition to this "customized" model - a square, not rounded, spine for scraping etc.

Ok. it's after Christmas, but now i know what i want. these 3 are on my radar for 2013:
1) Camp Knife (or Woodsman)
2) Ladyfinger
3) F2
