Up for sale, my latest Nakiri. Featuring a full convex grind with fairly thin but not laser blade geometry. It is about .014 behind the edge and will push cut easily.
This is a fairly flat blade with a slight rise toward the tip. Spine is slightly tapered from 2.35mm to 1.85. Balance is at the choil.
Blade height is 50mm at heel with very little taper, mostly at tip. Spine is rounded for comfort.
The handle features ironwood and ebony with copper spacer. There is some live edge here and there, but nothing significant. This is one stormy piece of ironwood!
Finish is hand rubbed to 1200 both blade and handle, with beeswax / mineral oil rubbed finish that can be touched up to keep this wood in condition.
Price - plus shipping.
Thanks for looking!
