Trades- My main trade interests at the moment are older (80's-90's or earlier) Italian Switchblade Keychain Knives in 2.75 and 4 inch size. The older models have 4 pins on the button side including a thru pin in the spine. Also, I am looking for the AGA Campolin Ring pull knives in 18 inch and 15 inch size. As well I am always interested in other quality or unique switchblades, production and custom. For Fixed blades I am always looking for Microtech Currahee knives. I also have recently gotten into Busse and Kin. I really dig the Bushwhacker Mistress (BWM) model from Busse. I also like the Mini Mojo and Uncle Mojo models from Swamprat and Scrapyard. I am definitely willing to consider other Busse, Swamprat and Scrapyard knives as well. I will not respond to other trade offers.
**Please Note, I am not going to waist your time or mine responding to offers outside of what I am looking for.**
Al Mar Belt Buckle Knife Customized by Richard Chischilly
One note, I've spent quite a bit of time researching Al Mar knives and Richard Chischilly. The information on this particular model and Mr. Chischilly is sparse but I believe what I've found is accurate. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
- Early 1980's Seki Japan production knife with a small production run and amazing customization work!
- Knife is New in Box, never carried or used. Some minor scuffs and scratches from handling.
- Knife besides inlays is stainless steel, buckle is zytel, customization includes turquoise and silver inlays.
- Richard Chischilly did quality work. All the other pieces I found with his customization were done on Buck knives. His craftsmanship is comparable to more well know artisans such as Yellowhorse knives. The following info was provided to me by a collector of Mr. Chischilly's work (so far I have only confirmed it with that one source). Mr. Chischilly is a Navajo artisan and was a platoon leader with the 101st Airborne Division in Vietnam.
