This knife was intended to be my entry for a Wilderness & Survival Skills Knife-maker Challenge (W.S.S. Forum). That challenge unfortunately, never fully transpired, so I had the knife returned to me and it is now up for sale. I was planning on keeping it for myself and I am sorry to see it go, but I need the money and hey...I can always make another one down the road. I put a lot of time work and funds into this blade.
- This knife has seen some light use and carry therefore has very minor/various scuffing in certain areas, and the top button strap has some cut marks on the interior. Blade and edge are like new. Overall only very minor "wear and tear".
SPECS:
Steel: .21" CPM 3V - 59 HRC + Cryo
OAL: 19.25"
Blade: 12.5" from plunge-line to tip
Grind: Shallow convex main bevel, w/ convex edge
Handle: Green Canvas Micarta, SS pins
Sheath: .08" Dark Brown Kydex, w/ drop leg and cross draw attachments (only one Tek-lock included), leather retention straps, Leather backed, kydex
pouch(removable) can carry a full-size folder + Fire-steel(see photos below)
Coating: Dura-coated by me
- Along with this knife, I will include(free of charge)
- My own personal Fire-steel w/ braided 550 chord lanyard, both also made by me (has been used)
- My own 3 color 550 chord bracelet, made by me, contains roughly 25 feet of 550 chord (worn only a few times)
- Roughly 20 feet of Duct tape wrapped around credit card size piece of Kydex
- Approx. 1 pound Fat-wood log (spruce pine)
