Really don't want to let this one go, but I simply don't have the will to carry this beautiful knife, and I don't hold onto anything I am not willing to carry, so it has to go.

This is a Kyle Hanson fixed blade, made for a good friend of mine here on the forums, and then bought by me from him. It was only carried once or twice by the original owner, and he said he had never really used it, and I have done the same. The edge is still pristine, and the knife itself is without flaw. The Paul Long custom pocket sheath does have some small wear marks and carry marks on the back, but is still in what I would call 97% new condition, and has been well-cared for.

The blade itself if made of Hanson random-pattern damascus blade, which is heat treated to 60-61rc, so it is more than capable of actually being used daily, and performing very well. Blade has a grind that comes to a very fine edge that is very sharp. It would be one hell of a slicer!
The blade also has an absolutely breathtaking etch on it. Check out the thread bellow to see some better pictures than mine that do this amazing knife more justice, because I just can't without better equipment and lighting.
Very very thin tapered tang, and one that is expertly done for sure!

Handles are bog oak scales, which are absolutely amazing to look at! This is a truly one-of-a-kind piece, and there will never be another knife like this, folks! The scales were carbon-dated to be 5460 years old, imported from Europe!!!

Price is only what I have in it:WITHDRAWN FOR NOW, which will include insured shipping via USPS priority 2-day.
International buyers will be considered, but all extra expenses are covered by buyer, and they accept liability once shipped.
First unconditional "I'll take it" wins out, and must be posted in this thread for the sake of keeping everything orderly.
This price is only for 5/5/2015, and ends tonight at midnight, for anyone who is still looking at this thread. This will have no extensions, and will not happen again folks!

And now for some pictures:

Here is the knife with some of it's friends that are going to miss it for sure

And a better pic showing the sheath:

This is the link to the original WIP thread for when the knife was being made: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1257428-WIP-Kyle-Hanson-EDC-Fighter-Knife-Complete!?highlight=Kyle+Hanson

If anyone would like any more information at all, just pm or email me. I am good about checking the threads as well, so questions can be left here as well for assurance.

I forgot to mention originally, but I am open to trades for several different types of knives!

Shirogorovs are some of my favorites, and I also like Hinderers, plus I would love to have a 0392BWBRNZ if someone has an extra ;)
Would really like to get a Ti-Bolt pen (+cash/something else of course) as well.

There are a lot of others, so if you have something you'd like to discuss let me know, and I am open to cash on either side in addition to trade, especially if it gets me a knife I really want.

Someone did ask me, so I do want to let anyone who might be concerned about the handles:
The markings on the handles are NOT scratahing or cracks, but are the striation in the wood caused by the nature of bog oak. Since it is partially fosilized in a bog for thousands of years at a time, the wood takes on many differnt types of patterns and different small variations in texture, so it developes a pattern resmebling tiger stripes in some cases, and it also will have those llines running through it, but they are not in any way defects in the wood itself.

Anyone who has any more questions or concerns please let me know, and I will immediately address them for you :)

I do want to mention that I will also take reasonable offers on the knife. These materials are very rare, and the workmanship is excellent though, so I feel this is a very fair price.
Let me know what you think.

Bump and one-day price for those few who actually come back to the 4th page of the customs sales. If you get it at this price, you will be getting an absolute steal my friends. This knife was $650 new with the sheath, and is truly the only one of it's kind that there ever has, or ever will be!
