Hello Folks, I have just finished this cool little Loveless style. Such a great handy little knife for an EDC with this style of sheath.
Blade is CPM 154 .102 thick and 2.75 tip to guard. O/A is 6.7 in. Heat treated w/cryo quench and double tempered to 60-61 RC. Polished and hand finished with 2000 grit. Tapered tang to .029. Blade is tempered at 950 so it is not effected by the temp of the soldering. I grind my blades with bare hands so I don't overheat when grinding as well.
Guard is 416 pinned and carefully silver soldered.
Handle is ivory micarta with .014 black G10 liners, stainless pins and lanyard hole.
Sheath is hand tooled and hand stitched leather. I use sole leather for the Loveless cam idea so the knife fits nice and snug yet is easy to withdraw.
