I was looking for something to use for camping and wilderness canoeing, flat grind, light and broad enough to be comfortable in the hand. This met all those requirements, but I never got around to carrying it. Probably because I don’t get to go on as many trips as I used to
, but also because right at the time I customised another knife that was suitable, but had already seen use, and so was easier to keep using (abusing). This one stayed in its little padded pouch and never did get the use it should have. Since getting it I have carried a series of personalised custom Benchmades and I haven't been able to bring myself to make it messy.
