Off to the bay...

A great European traditional with modern touches. Only fondled & tested on paper sheets. Pataud is one of the best makers in France, and this lock back (see close up pic for back end lock mechanism) is no exception. Solid, nice filework, nice Bocote. Its only flaws are that it's a tad off center, and I used a wet sponge scrubber side (naively, but no chemicals) in an attempt to minimize the dark etch name with a wet sponge, which you can see in one of the photos; should Flitz off. It's beautiful knife with a long tradition. I call it a stabber. Bought from the maker, I just don't use it, so needs a new home. Included : Numbered Guarantee certificate, hand made leather pouch.
