Blade length: 4.75 in.
Total length: 9.60 in.
Blade width: 1.45 in.
Blade thickness: 0.10 in.
Weight: 2.30 oz.
Blade: Aogami 1 (Blue #1) with reactive iron kurouchi cladding, Rc 64
Handle: Octagonal ho wood with buffalo horn ferrule
Lightly used for vegetable prep a handful of times.
Edge has been thinned out some and has a plenty sharp 6k waterstone edge on it. Some sharpening scuffs towards the tip on one side of the blade that the pictures didn't pick up too well.
Lacquer blade coating has been stripped. Some patina forming.
Handle has received a few coats of mineral oil and has been smoothed out with 600 grit sandpaper.
Excellent fit and finish as far as I can tell, feels great in the hand, plenty of knuckle clearance to chop with pinch grip, ground thin behind the edge.
Comes with box.
