Vintage Rod Chappel skinning / hunting knife......The "Lady Diana" model. This is one of Chappel's more diminutive knives and is found in his original catalogue. The knife features a .255" 440C stainless steel blade with 1.685" blade depth, hidden tang construction. The recurve blade has "A Roderick Caribou Chappel, Lady Diana, Ser. No 001" etched on one side and "1970 October 22nd, 1990, "Mountlake Terrace, WA" on the other. The handle has a brass guard and butt with a wood grip and black/aluminum/red/brass spacers. Comes with an original brown leather sheath. Brass shows light patina.
