Vintage Rod Chappel skinning / hunting knife....This was Chappel's "Personal Skinner" model. This is one of Chappel's more diminutive knives and was a "one off" from his normal line of knives....knife features 440C stainless steel blade with full tang construction. The recurve blade has "Davis Knives, Spokane, WA" etched on one side. The handle is comprised of beautifully formed and polished burgundy micarta slabs, pinned with brass...Comes with an original Jesse Smith leather sheath. This iconic knife is dead mint. This is one of his harder to find models....no disappointments.
