Withdrawn

Very nice, really like the blade design, but I'm not a big fan of the handle, or rather the edges at the blade side of the handle. That's one of the few things I don't like about a couple of SOG's folders either; the size of the handle front makes the blade look so awkward in the open position. Folder guards should be on the blade, not handle, in my opinion; by design, the blade will always, or in most cases, be smaller than the handle on a folder, so making the handle even larger by adding guards to it, instead of the blade, will usually make it look weird, since I'm not a fan of knives where the handle is significantly larger than the blade.

just want to say , your K2 knife is imo one of the most amazing looking knife designs Ive ever seen and i wish i could own one .
i felt compelled to write something here though , with all due respect , to me this team leader prototype is pretty ugly.
it reminds me of the ka bar warthog , the way the ricasso looks quite narrow with respect to the blade and the handle too wide .
maybe if some of the spine and the thumb-ramp were dialed down a bit ? like the sog fixed blades with much lower profile thumb-ramp ? i have no doubt that your fit and finish is top notch and i dig the retro sog feel !
i love the choice of hardware too btw .
i hope this comes across as constructive criticism , all your other work looks so amazing im a big fan .
all the best for nailing this one down !

Wow... SOG should put that into [American] production, call it the TOMCAT 3 or whatever number they're up to, and hire Farid fulltime. And while we're on the subject...D3? woah...

Thanks for writing, I take all criticism well and I appreciate your views. This project in a way was a trip down memory lane back to 1986, also please remember the transformation from a lock back to a frame lock on this knife is my work but the design is SOG, yes there are features that I would change if I made more down the road but the outline of this knife is the very classic and original SOG Team Leader.
If I were to change any features of this knife to make future versions it would only be to make the knife more edc, I will think on this and as and when I have time maybe I will release a limited edition which is a little more rounded and easier to carry.
Thank you for the compliment on my K2.

Thank you, I like it a lot, I am thinking about making a batch down the road but I like to change a few things about the handle to make it easier to hold but the design is Classic 80's.

Very Nice, Farid! Way to go.

The Best SOG Folder Ever!!
