Frank won many awards including, Red Watson Award presented by the Knifemakers Guild, Blade Magazine Cutlery Hall of Fame, Beretta Award. He co-authored the book “How To Make Folding Knives” along with knifemakers RonLake and Wayne Clay.

Centofante made many different models of knives. He started making fixed blade knives but soon decided that folders were his forte. He designed several models of folders mostly liner lock models. He was known for producing high end collectible folding knives.

This lockback folder by Frank Centofante features a hand-rubbed satin finish blade, satin stainless bolsters, and stag scales. File work all around on liners. Well matched and nicely textured scales. One picture shows what looks like a crack it is not. Perfect lockup. Excellent fit and finish.
