Withdrawn

I have been collection knives for a few years now. I have about 40 Darrel Ralph folders. Some are Talonite and Stellite blades, others just ATS34, 154V, etc. My question is: Are Talonite and Stellite blades in demand or demand a higher price on the second hand market. I know that they do when you purchase them. Are those blades any better than regular steels? I do not wish to put them on the market at this time, so this is NOT a for sale listing. Just want some input from other collectors. Thank you, Robert :)

Talionite and Stellite do generally draw a premium, yes, but Darrel seems to work with Stellite 6K pretty frequently so it might not add as much value as it would with another maker. On top of that, Darrel has been making knives for years and still takes orders, so none of his customs are in short supply in general.

Misanthropia, It is great to see you here and we appreciate your great words.

The Dominator knife has risen to a very popular level quickly and we are grateful. We are just not making many knives these days so the wait time has gone off the charts. With that in mind, we have recently closed our books on the Dominator 4 inch version knife.
We feel it is not fair to our customers wait for long periods for a knife, so we have decided to close the books fill the existing orders, and at shows just set up a lottery and offer them for sale. It is a one hundred and eighty degree shift for DDR compared to yeas past. We also feel that the creative aspect of the knives are better this way and our customers get more one of a kind style knives.

Thanks so much for your ear and great words.
