Ok guys..can't quite decide what to do with this one from Rick Menefee. It's a beautiful knife with carbon fiber scales and a very thin grind. The only thing amiss with is it the tip is very slightly bent. He ground this one (by design) so thin that the tip actually flexes. Steel is CPM154. He stands by his work and, if I keep it I will give him a call tomorrow.
To be honest, I'm just not that crazy about carbon fiber. This is a high quality custom from a great maker. Absolutely no play and beautiful scales.
