It includes the blue lanyard pivot and new lanyard as seen in the pics.

Stamp date inside the handles is C 11. I don't know about the heat treat on this .

What's the difference in the old HT and new HT protocols and is the blue anodizing rubbed off on the thumb stud?

I don't know when the "new" steel came out (I think this is a question for the Chris Reeve knife forums). The newer releases I think are a harder Rockwell and are pretty recent new knives that were just made. I don't know if the change is a positive direction rather than it being just something different.

The blue is not rubbed off the thumbstud. You must be on a phone and can't see because they are really comprehensive pics!

Interested, how old is this knife?

The stamp inside the handle is C 11. So it means 2011 and I don't know what month the "C" stands for. You can look it up on CRK forums here. The thing is the date stamp on the grips have nothing to do with the birthday card CRK send out with these knives as the BD card is always a later date than the stamp on the handle. Meaning the grips sit around and when they assemble the knife months later they give it a birthdate.

If you can read up on my ad it says No box and B-day card. Price is low for a like new small 21 that just came back from the SPA where they did a bead blast .The grips were not that bad before I sent it and it looked good. I have pics of before I sent it in so if you PM me I can send what it looked like before. Also they sharpened the blade. I only sent this knife in to CRK because I sent a different Sebenza in for repair and sent this one along with it because shipping was the same. Just saying there was nothing wrong with it. Just a SPA treatment which it didn't need that bad.
