Can you describe the mark on the tip? From the photo it looks like there might be 2-3 little pock marks in the metal on near the tip on the lock side, but it's hard to tell if this is just dirt on the blade. Thank you.

I don't have the knife with me currently, I will take a closer look when I get home tonight and try to describe it better.
 
Okay, looking at these marks on the tip of the blade, the mark is on both side of the blade, there is no depth to them at all. I run my finger nail across them and I cannot feel a bump. The swedge on the spine of the blade is clear with no scratches. I have no idea how these marks got on the blade, they may have been there when I received the knife. I have only opened letters/packages with the knife. It's still factory sharp. I took some better pictures of the tip of the blade. See below. I had to angle the knife just right for the marks to show up.
