Hard to tell in the pictures if it would be sharpened like a tanto or not

Here are a couple more pics. This grind is on all mk4 kwaibacks. Id say it is inbetween a tanto and a spanto. I love this grind as it has a very strong tip and a great cutting edge

But it does not have 2 different edges as a true tanto has.
