For sale is a fully functional, (very sharp!) Celtic sword made by Traditional Filipino Weapons. This model is currently unavailable and with the sword industry where it is I would be surprised if they made more anytime soon. I only used this sword to cut light cardboard targets a few times and am only selling it because, sadly, i need the money this month.

It is in great condition, only a few light scratches on the blade and ricasso that i tried to capture but they didnt photograph well. The pommel has a few little dings along the edge of the disc and brass on the sheath has an issue, both are in the photos and quite minor. It came to me like this, i imagine it happened during shipping from the phillipines.

All of the accents are brass. the blade is high carbon steel. The sheath is brass, wood and leather.

Here is the description from the TFW website:

"Description

Blade Length:21″

Overall Length: 28″

Celtic Dress Sword – TFW continues to broaden out to encompass blades of all cultures and our Celtic Dress Sword is one of two new European swords to be added to our cataloge of international edged weapons. The Celts hailed from Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, the Isle of Man and Brittany, also known as the Six Celtic Nations, and also all known as fearsome warriors.

This fine Celtic dress sword is historically accurate in detail, yet unique to TFW. A heavy double-edged 21″ blade is razor sharp and thick of our special 5160/D2 blend, yet alive in the hand due to a well balanced forging. The beautiful hardwood handle and semi-circular thick brass guard blend artisically into the blade, which in turn fits artistically into the leather wrapped and heavily detailed scabbard. The pommel is also solid brass.

Detail abounds on the scabbard which is complete with four brass ring anchor points for traditional carry with the method your prefer."

And here are some videos of the design in action and its history:
