What size do you wear for normal shoes?

Usually they say Whites run large but since these are from a little while ago I don't know if that was always the case.

I understand the trepidation in buying secondhand footwear, so I went to the local Red Wing shoe store and had my feet digitally measured and I can give you my exact measurements…

The length of my left foot is 11.43 inches and it is 4.05 inches wide. The length of my right foot is 11.28 inches and it is 4 inches in width. These boots, with a thin sock, fits snugly across the width of my feet with approximately 3/8 or so open space in front of the great toe.

My advice is that you stand on a piece of blank paper and have someone trace an outline of your foot, making sure that the pencil is held as vertical as possible and then measure from that to see how your dimensions compare with my own.
