I must have overlooked it.
I do not get updates from BF in my email.
I have to go in and check BF for messages and
I’ve gotten several messages today
What do you want to know???

Hey, the real "Wow" is how some sellers do not respond to buyers' messages in the order in which they are inboxed.
And then after having given him the opportunity to rectify the obvious error, he continued to say, "I don't want to sell it from underneath this other guy" who was actually 2-3 people down on the list.

Case & Point:
"Edgefinder" never responded to my message yesterday afternoon that he verifiably received FIRST as I messaged him immediately after he listed it.
Today, in both a message and finally on a phone call, he indicated he didn't get my message, which is a contradiction to what the direct message inbox shows it having been read not long after I sent it.

That's simply not proper protocol. Ugh! :rolleyes:
All I can conclude is, it must be a blessing in disguise. After all, it's just a knife, right....!?!,.... not my life blood.
 
Just to set the record straight. FLBLADESTER only posted he would take the knife after I received two other posts/messages of other members that they would take it. So, he was 3rd in-line. He first posted/message to me was requesting me to call him. When I asked what he wanted (I did respond to his message) to know, he said, refer to the DM that I call him. Never did he say, he wanted the knife until two other members wanted it. He also, messaged me under another BF member’s name asking why I did not call him.
Moderators can review the posts/messages, or I can post them.
Those are facts.

John, here's how we set the record straight sir.

It's plain and simple. If you would've responded to my direct message by calling me in the order of the comments posted and inbox messages, this exchange wouldn't be taking place.

From my extensive experience here and beyond, even when someone says “I’ll Take It,” that doesn’t mean it’s a done deal. Most sellers work through any and all potentials buyers’ posts and inbox messages in the order they come in, not by the verbiage they use on the thread. I’ve seen guys write “I’LL TAKE IT” on a thread and then send the seller a message trying to negotiate the price, etc., and then never actually buy it. Often resulting in a legit buyer passing on it because they saw the “I’ll Take It” on the thread. There have also been cases where sellers have opted to sell to a 2nd, 3rd, or later potential buyer who inboxed them because they were offered more than the posted amount to secure the purchase. True story. It's happened more than once.

Like I said on the phone earlier John when you finally called today, I was the first ready buyer who contacted you. I was looking to confirm it was a legit sale and truly you I would be sending the money to due to some scammer/scamming issues occurring on social media platforms.

This is how we set the record straight. NUF SAID!!! That's all folks.

This is exactly what I'm talking about.
I'm sure the buyer who sent money for this one is loving the original item description and pics of what they purchased being erased/removed/WITHDRAWN.

Moderators and Admins - this really shouldn't be allowed after a purchase has been made, until both parties have signed off with the appropriate corresponding feedback. :oops:

From the sounds of it, it looks like I was your only viable sure buyer who you chose to ignore, disrespect and now attack because I’m presenting the truth and sharing the facts.

Sorry, but I’m probably not the only one who doesn’t believe your “No one Paid - I didn’t sell it” story. Just like when you said up in the thread above that “I must have overlooked it.” That was not true John. The direct message conversation center shows when you read the message yesterday right after I sent it. You didn’t overlook it, you simply chose to not call me.

The moderators can assess the content of this thread and make a determination as to what has REALLY happened here. 🙏🏼🤷🏻‍♂️
