Hello,

Is it a factory Battle Black? It looks like it’s missing the “tri-way” mark on the flipper tab.
Great question. I replaced this one with a different XM-18 3.0 the very next day so I really never took much of a look at it. It was sold to me by Arizona Custom Knifes as factory battle black. If you look at the Hinderer markings on the blade, they are sharp, so I believe it to be correct. The markings also match what is on my other XM-18 3.0. I agree there is no Tri-way markings so I took the comment about bearings out as I cannot confirm, and I do not plan to take apart the knife. I had asked Arizona Custom Knifes before I purchased it and they said it was bearings, but I did not confirm. My guess is it is likely an older generation that is running on washers.
