Without thinking: The knife you reach for first

My large Sebenza of course ! (what can I do without it ?!? :D ) I just have to get it from the bedside table.

Whatever's in my pocket.

Which knife I decide to put in my pocket each day...that's usually not a quick, "without thinking" decision. Where I'm going, what time of night I'll be coming back, what I can expect to be doing with it, which one I "feel" like taking...that varies every day (sometimes more than once per day).

Boy, Planterz pretty much said what I was going to. Now if I DON'T think about it, it's my Camillus Dominator and lately my Vic Huntsman. When I do think about it, it can be any combination of a "sheeple friendly" knife, and something a little more substantial.

Usually for work it's a BM 550 Griptillian, or a Large flat ground Sebenza.

When in the backcountry I reach for my Busse SH-E or Natural Outlaw 3 that have been customized to symmetrical grind.

My beater blade is always a Frosts Mora Clipper.

one of my favorite things about knifeloving is when I'm heading out of the house and I look at my shelf and pick out my favorite folder for the day.

Right now my MT Mini Socom Elite is undergoing a change of inlays, so it's usually between my Spydie Centofante III or my SERE 2000 if I'm not worried about the weight.

MT SOCOM M/A, mostly because it's what I have in my pocket most of the time.

My plain edge Microtech Socom Elite for general purposes or if PC attire is required, a Benchmade 941 of one sort or another. Both are awesome designs.

my small sebbie when I leave the house, and whatever knife is closest to me inside the house :D

If I am working, (landscaping, roofing, etc) I grab my SRKW Howling Rat. any where else, the Griptillian in D2.

I reach for the Mobius fixed blade that I designed and made. It gets used an awful lot.

When I'm at work, and not carrying a belt knife, I go for my Camillus Aftermath.

I suppose it would depend on what needed cutting...but probably my Benchmade 556 Mini-Griptilian.

Edited because I changed my choice.

Allen.

For general city carry I grab my Spyderco Delica and Victorinox Soldier. If I'm going out and about in more rural areas, the Spyderco Military.

I always have my SAK climber or explorer with me and one other folder. Usually my BM 940 or 710 or 705. I am considering adding an 806 to that.

Most days, I carry my old Schrade-Walden stockman, my old Schrade trapper, or my Calypso Jr.

If I am dressing up, it is the Spyderco Kiwi.

If I'm going to the woods, it's the Bandicoot for general purpose, heavy duty work, and the Marbles 52100 Fieldcraft for skinning.

Small regular "Stars & Stripes" c.g.g. Senenza and red VIC SwissChamp........consistent E.D.Cs........the rest of my carry load is dependent on the variables of the specific situation.
