Have one coming as well, in micarta scale. Your pictures just made it REALLY tough to stick to Micarta now.

Sorry for being such a bad influence. I’m deciding on a new sayoc in a synthetic handle option now. I’m going to be working in some of the wettest places in the country. I think micarta is going to be my best bet.
I’m looking forward to the test pics.

Where did you get the pic from? The Micarta looks like snakeskin! Maybe it's the lighting, what was suppose to be greyish looking Mic. now has brown tints on it.

Beneath the lovely leather there's a kydex sheath that hugs the belt knife like a passionate python.

D Winkler sent it to me via email. I think I’m leaning towards the rubber handle more now. I’m going to use it a lot, in a jungle setting and a need it to stay in my hands and wet conditions. I’m still thinking about it.
I will be working in the states of Oaxaca and Chiapas for the better part of next year, so I’m gearing up. The jungle presents a lot of needs for mission specific gear.
