Hi folks,

There are a number of knives in my career that I have gushed over. None with quite the regularity of Canadian Wolfe's work. The 'Wings' knife below was so influential in my early appreciation (...and awe!), that it still retains my highest accolades.

Let's start here:

I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to shoot a bunch of his work lately. A prominent Canadian collector had acquired his work for years, and decided to pass them on. My good friend Don Guild was one of the recipients, and purchased over ten of them in one package. (Value: They are not close to being 'affordable', yet I submit they will remain a solid investment.)

Below is a photo collection of his incredible work. ALL clickable to larger. It needs to be added that he creates these knives with files, stones, and a MINIMAL amount of machine tools.

And to prove he can build traditional knives also:

A final salute:

Taken about five years ago in NYC. Wolfe and his charming wife, Dianne.

I hope you enjoy this display. Please feel free to add images of his work I do not have, and your appreciative thoughts.

The first one or 2 are like Wow, then there's another and another and I run out adjectives and am speechless.

Thanks for sharing.

I am with you Greg. I must have spent at least two hours over the weekend looking at these knives and their lines.
