This knife has been used and carried by me.
I made and finished it a week or so before Christmas and have carried it since.
It was originally zero convex ground, but that was too thin for this steel.
It has since been high flat ground and is such a pleasant knife to use.
That is also the reason for the dark tip.
The blade was originally left dark with heat treat colors.
When I reground it I did not thin the tip anymore than it was previously.
